Husky safari "The Northern Traditions"

Come over for an one day trip to the magnificient Husky Park close to Lovozero Saami village. A full excursion program at the husky kennels and reindeer farm including husky safari and tradional lunch in Russian Lapland on Kola Peninsula.

At arrival you will be met by a guide with snowmobile and sledge. Your adventure starts with a ride on the sledge from the car park to the Husky Park. There you get a full excursion at the husky kennels and reindeer farm including husky safari and tradional lunch in Russian Lapland on Kola Peninsula. You will learn the wonderful story of the race “Siberian Husky”, you can communicate with the charming and sweet dogs as well. You may participate on a dog sledding ride through the forest and frozen lakes.

The guide takes you to a replica of a Saami village where you get acquainted with the way of life of the Saami people, as it was more than a century ago. You will meet, feed, hug and may photograph the reindeers. After lunch with traditional Saami dishes (creamy fish soup, reindeer meat or fish, berry pie), you are brought back to the main road by sledge and snowmobile.

Dates: Any date between middle of December and end of April (dates in other period are on request). For visiting the Husky Park you need to make an appointment. There are limited places!
