4x4 Camper/truck tour on Kola Peninsula

The meeting point is Kandalaksha. The first 4 days we spend in the White Sea coast area. It includes muddy forest tracks where broken bridges mean that we have to make a detour into the sea (can be avoided), an hour long beach drive, through sand dunes to half deserted villages. On the way we visit an ancient stone labyrinth dated 2000 years B.C. and Europe’s Northernmost dessert; Arctic dessert.

During the next 3 days we drive a 100km northwards into the endless forest, through mud, rivers, overflowing bogs and without a sign of civilisation all the way.

We’ll stay one day in a remote village of a dozen wooden houses before we head to the ancient and magnificent Khibiny Mountains where we spend 4 days. The nights we spend in the beautiful lake area and play around with the cars to explore the rough and wild area.

The next 5 days we’ll spend with visits to, a Saami Settlement, rock-crawling to the top of the Kola over a lunar landscape to park at the edge of a sheer 200m cliff and exploring Teriberka village and the Barents sea shore. All Off-road Expeditions end in Worlds biggest city above the Arctic Circle: Murmansk.
